Another match for the Hollandse FC against one of the top three teams of the league. Brewerkz
hosted their match at the big ITE stadium and Hollandse welcomed back their previously missed strikers.
The game started later than expected due to Men in Black arriving late.

Hollandse surely were ready for this encounter and it showed when few minutes into the game Antonio
fired a shot against the back of a Brewerkz defender. Defender went down but surely he stood in between
our game opener. Hereafter both teams settled into the game with Brewerkz starting their moves with
their pacy strikers. John stood firm in goal and had a few great saves. Also Hollandse had a few chances,
shot from Joost over the bar and again Antonio tried to find the net. Half time score was 0-0 and all the
play for.

Second half Brewerkz used their subs and about 10 minutes into the half managed to score the first goal.
A counterattack from the men in Real Madrid White and sloppy defending from Hollandse saw their no 11
striker finish off a shot from outside the box into the top corner.

But this gave the men in Orange an extra drive and we had our best 20 minutes of the match. All about
5 created corner kicks unfortunately could not be headed home by the Dutch Royal Airforce. Because of
fading daylight, Hollandse has asked to turn on the flood lights but to no avail. Hollandse could not make
the equalizer and their defense held the null.

In the dying minutes of the game, Brewerkz got a free kick on the left side of the pitch. The ball was
brought into our box and bounced unluckily from Lennart's face into our goal. 2-0 and that surely sealed
the victory for Brewerkz.

All in all a game to be proud of. The defense stood as a house, midfield had good moves and the forwards
tried their best. Heads up high and I am sure that points and goals will come our way. Brewerkz played a
fair game and all in all the refs had the game well in hand.

It was a close head to head for the MOM between Chris and John but the honours go to John.
